I am a huge New Year's resolution fan. A fresh start, a new beginning. What's not to like? I am, however, terrible at following through with my resolutions (aren't we all?). I've been thinking a lot this past fall about who I am and who I would like to be. In short, I'd like to live a more intentional life. I'd like to be more present, to focus on what is truly important to me, and worry less about what other people are up to and doing. No more "keeping up with the Jones'", if you will.
Alas, I thought I would get a head start on 2017, shoot high, and reevaluate at the end of the month to fine tune my overall 2017 intentions. So here goes, my December Goals:
- 31 Day Strength Project. This is probably what I am most excited about. I NEED more yoga in my life and I am done using my kid as an excuse as to why I am not practicing.
- Daily Purge Challenge.
- Whole 30. I half heartedly attempted this in September. I think I made it about 12 hours. Then 2 days. Then I forgot about it completely. I successfully accomplished the Whole 30 in June of 2015, so I know I can do. I just need to actually follow through.
- Gratitude Journal. Pretty self explanatory, but again, more on this later.
So there it is. I put this all out into the world, and now I am ready to dive head first into my December goals!
